New and Timely Information

We have three more weeks of the first semester, so if you need assistance with academics, talk with your teachers, a counselor, and/or come to ASAP after school Monday - Thursday to get things done! We are here to help!

Remember that phones need to be put away during passing periods and at lunch. In classes, teachers will let you know whether you can use them. If you need to communicate with home or parents, come to either the DaVinci or Emerson office. The goal is to use technology as a tool when necessary, and to not let it run your life. Talk to human beings during the school day!

If you ride your bike to school, please wear your helmet, take earbuds out, and be safe while riding. Always make sure drivers can see you and do not cut cars off.  Stop at all stop signs and use your hand signals. Also, make sure you lock your bike inside the bike cages. Bike cages are not locked overnight or on the weekends! Ride safe!!

Remember, Eagles and Pandas - ASAP happens after school every day Monday through Thursday in the library, 3:30 - 5:00pm! Come get help with math, get organized, or finish that HW before you go home or to practice!

We’ve had several reports of cars going well over the speed limit on Eisenhower Ave. on their way to the Emerson/Da Vinci Campus in the morning.  There are many students who walk and bike to school on this road, in addition to our neighbors in the residential area. In order to keep everyone safe, PLEASE adhere to posted speed limits and take extra precaution while in a school zoneAs the weather turns cold and rainy, please remember these important safety items if you are dropping off and picking up students with cars:

In our parking lot, there is no waiting or parking on red curbs or behind parked cars. There are plenty of parking spaces if there is no room on a non-red curb. The bus loading zone is NOT a waiting area - even if there is no bus. Please do not wait to pick up students in the bus loading zone - it is reserved for busses that may need it at any time.Be extra attentive, patient, and alert while driving, as students continue to walk &  ride bikes to and from school. Kindly follow all posted speed limits around campus. It is better to be late to school than to be in an accident!l
